David’s family would like to share with his friends and patients a quote from Walt Whitman, left by David for his family.
“A Starry Midnight”
This is thy hour O Soul!
Thy free flight into the wordless!
Away from books—Away from Art—
The day is closed—the lesson is done,
For thee freely forth emerging silently gazing
Pondering the themes thou lovest best—
Night, sleep, death, and the stars.
~Walt Whitman
