Just discovered this today. As with Chuck above I also played football in Germany for Coach Cerjan. My deepest sympathies. What a guy! Loved playing for him. A real motivator of men. Best regards, Mack Alfa #68

I just saw this 2 years after LTG Cerjan's passing. I served with LTG Cerjan's at the 10th Mountain Div and he took me with him to serve on the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe's staff with him in Belgium. It has saddened me to know that such a wonderful boss and inspiration is no longer with us and my sympathies go out to his family.
I found this 2 years after the fact. I want to cry. I played baseball for coach in Germany with both Rob and David . My dad and him knew each other well. I don't think my dad knows this yet . He will be saddened also . God bless
I was honored to serve under the then Capt. Cerjan in Co B, 8th Engr, 1st Cav in '65-'66. First in a line Platoon and then as his "Radar" (company clerk). He was a true leader and a real gentlemen. He set standards that I have tried to follow all my life. I give my sympathies to his family. It is hard to understand why God sometimes takes the good ones early. Axehandle
My prayers and sympathies go out to Pat and the three Boys and Family.
I served under Paul in 1965 &66 in "B" Co. 8th Eng. Batt. 1st air cav div.
A excellent man and officer that always took care of his men first! He will be remembered well by all that knew him as I did.
Farewell My Captain and rest well. Axehandle 6 india
