Obituary for Pamela Jean DeFillipes

Pamela Jean (Kehoe) DeFillipes passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2014 after being hit by a car while crossing the street in Vallejo California. She was born in Rome, New York on September 3 1954 to Thomas and Jean Kehoe. Pam was educated and graduated from Rome Catholic High School. She was married to Frank DeFillipes and they enjoyed their life in California until his passing in 2013. In addition to raising two sons, she got a great deal of satisfaction in her job working in Hospital Services until she had to retire due to a disability. Pam is survived by her two sons and one daughter in law Carlos and Rosie Jackson and Kwame Kehoe and his special friend Nneoma; two brothers and sisters in laws, Thomas and Mary Alice Kehoe and Tedd and Ann Kehoe and a number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her first husband Roland Jackson. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Maureen. Pam had a kind, compassionate and loving heart. She raised her sons with unconditional love. They were the focus of her life and love. Pam was a very special person, a loving wife, mother, sister and a very special friend. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Her kind smile will live in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11am at St. Peter’s Church with the Rev. Philip Hearn officiating. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
