Frank Robert Kopper 98 of Schenectady died Tuesday April 11, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital. Frank was born in Niskayuna October 17, 1907, the son of Gustave E.R. and Mary E. (Benzing) (Rueger) Kopper and spent his childhood in Niskayuna, Greenwich and Hempstead. He attended Niskayuna and Schenectady Schools. He was married for over fifty years to the former Margaret C. Lindow, who died in 1992. Frank was employed for many years as the general manager of Neil O. Sheldon Oil Co., later the Schenectady Agway. He had a lifelong interest in farming and maintained a large beautiful floral garden and vegetable farm on the Sheldon estate. He leaves one cousin, Ella Weber of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial park, with a graveside memorial service to be held in August at a date and time to be announced.
