Marion J. Brown

Marion J. Brown, of Mill St., Springville, passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, Springville at the age of 96. She was born July 9, 1923 in East Concord, New York a daughter of the late Frank and Amelia (nee Knaisch) Kuhl. She was a graduate of Springville Griffith Institute, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Springville and worked at the Robinson Knife Co. in Springville. She is reunited with her husband - Kenneth V. Brown whom she married November 21, 1942, he died January 9, 2006. She will be forever missed by her daughter - Linda (Fred) Reehling of Springville, her son - Don (Lisa) Brown of Springville; five grandchildren whom she adored - Brian, Chris, Colleen, Sarah and Kevin; and her precious 14 great-grandchildren - Kayli, Josh, Aiden, Alex, Max, Landon, Aubrey, Ava, Rex, Sadie, Katherina, Julia, Aidan and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings - Raymond, Robert and Frances Kuhl. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 7, 2020 at 10:30 am in Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
