Adriana Scharr

Adriana (Huncikova) Scharr, 54 years young, of Ringwood NJ passed away on Sunday, July 5 peacefully under the care of Valley Hospital after a long illness. Adriana was born in Slovakia to Rudolf and Edita Hunick (deceased), and is survived by her brothers Brano Huncik, Marek Huncik and their families in Slovakia. Adriana is also survived by her children Jacqueline and Patrick Scharr and by her former spouse Frederick Scharr. Adriana came to America in 1990 and received a master’s degree in business, excelled in sales across several industries, and eventually started a Financial Advisory Practice for Edward Jones in Ringwood NJ. She also earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Adriana loved her clients, her family, and friends in the community. She was an active member and past President of the Ramapo Valley Rotary Club. Adriana redefined the words charming and delightful to all those she embraced. She remains in the hearts and souls of those who cherished her. Special thanks to the Valley Hospital Health System and the astounding care and comfort they provided. A memorial service will be scheduled in the future when and where we can all be safe.
