Judy L Starr (Nee Heller) Passed away Peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family on September 18, 2020. She was 69 years old and born November 11, 1950. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband Edwin Starr Jr, and parents William and Violet Heller. She is Survived by her sister Sandra Tampkin of Jacksonville Florida, her four children; Michael and wife Jen of West Milford NJ, Jaime and wife Kerri of Hewitt NJ, Brandi and husband William of Sloatsburg NY, Shane and wife Susan of Hillburn NY, her 12 wonderful grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very active in the Hillburn community for over 50 years. Her pride an joy in life was being part of the lady auxiliary for 47 year where she chaired many events such as Christmas caroling, Halloween, Plant/bake sales and more. She was a past president of the Hillburn senior citizens, and was awarded the Citizen of the year in 2012. The community of Hillburn has lost one of its most valuable citizens. In in addition to her community service her legacy is the family that her and Eddie created. She will be missed by all.
