Jessica M. Boushie
Jessica Maria Boushie, 37, Tupper Lake, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, succumbing to an accidental drug overdose.
Jessica was born May 6, 1980, in Saranac Lake, NY and lived the majority of her life in the area. She was a free spirited beautiful soul who adored her family and held all eight of her nieces and nephews near and dear to her heart. She enjoyed hiking, swimming, skiing, four wheeling, camping, a good bonfire in the Adirondacks and had an overall love for nature. Her appreciation for nature went hand in hand with her love to travel especially to the ocean. Jessica loved to socialize with people and would spark a conversation with anyone. Her beautiful smile and love will be sorely missed by all who call her family or friend.
She is survived by her mother and father, Jacqueline (Keniston) and Steven Boushie, Tupper Lake, NY; five brothers, Justin Boushie and wife, Rebecca, Hudson, NY, Jeremy Boushie and wife, Crystal, Milford, OH, Steven Boushie and wife, Mackenzie, Tupper Lake, NY, Nicholas Boushie and girlfriend, Alexis Cassell, Tupper Lake, NY, and Zachary Boushie, Tupper Lake, NY; grandmother, Jeannette Keniston (Memere); three nephews, Jayden, Gavin, and Jase; five nieces, Chloe, McKenna, Cameron, Madelyn, and Abigail, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jessica is preceded in death by grandparents, Phyllis and Richard Boushie, Larry Keniston, Sr., uncles Brian Dukett, Paul Boushie, Rod Nadeau, and Larry Keniston Jr., whom she loved dearly like a big brother.
Friends may call at the Stuart Fortune Keough Funeral Home, Tupper Lake, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 16.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, at the St. Alphonsus Church, Father Decker will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery immediately following.
