CLIFTON PARK, NY - Earl Joseph Pashkevich, 90, passed away on September 5, 2016 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Born in Troy, Earl was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Galvin) Pashkevich. He spent his early years in Troy and was raised by his foster parents Mr. and Mrs. George T. Horan. He resided for much of his life in Clifton Park. Earl was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and served his country in the Pacific Theater. He later served in the Air Force, during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged on December 19, 1952. Earl was a retiree of the Ford Motor Company in Green Island where he worked for 35 years . He is survived by his wife, Jane A. (Callahan) Pashkevich; his children, Cheryl A. Pashkevich of Latham, Karen M. (Gregory) Orleman of Queensbury, Mark J. Pashkevich and Thomas E. Pashkevich both of Clifton Park; his grandsons, Kyle G. (Jennifer) Orleman and Kragen S. (Nicole) Orleman both of Queensbury; his great-grandsons, Kragen S., Sawyer G. and Oliver H. Orleman; his cousin Dennis Ciaffa. He was pre-deceased by his foster-brother, George Horan. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2 PM in the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville. Friends are invited and are requested to gather inside the cemetery gate at 1:45 PM. There will be no public calling hours.
