Dieumene Borno

Troy – Dieumene Borno, 74, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospital on Thursday June 25, 2020. Born in Bainet, Haiti she is the daughter of Marie Famalia-Louis and the late Tinise Myrthil. Dieumene immigrated to The united State in the 1970’s to chase “The American Dream”. She settled in Brooklyn and worked many different jobs to provide for her growing family. Eventually they moved and settled on Long Island where she raised her beautiful family. Dieumene is survived by her children; Irvine Germain-Fleuriot, Jerry Borno, Joseph (Nickesha) Borno and Huguette Harrison; her siblings, Jeanina Myrthil, Francis Louis, Lionel Myrthil, Jean Phillip Myrthil and Elza Jean Louis; her grandchildren, Gerald Dennis, Brigitte Thompson, Monique Thompson, Joseph Fleuriot Jr., Rachelle Thompson, Jessica Fleuriot, Gage Borno, Jonathon Fleuriot, Kaloni Borno, Arianna Borno and Isaiah Borno.She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Dieumene was predeceased by her father Tinise Myrthil and her son, Patrick Borno. Funeral services for Dieumene will be held on Friday July 3rd at 12:00 p.m. at Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway in Watervliet. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Hill Cemetery.
