Maxine Gore

<p>Maxine Glass Gore was born on August 3, 1934 in Orangeburg </p><p>County to the late Mr. Frank Williams and Mrs. Phyllis Way. </p><p>She heard God’s call and exchanged this earthly life for eternal </p><p>rest on May 11, 2021.</p><p>Maxine was educated in the Orangeburg County Public School </p><p>System. Later, she moved to White Plains, New York where she met the love of her life and was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Gerald Gore and together they had one son, Kevin Gore. In 1992, Maxine retired from AT&amp;T as Graphics Designer and instead of being idle, she volunteered in her community.</p><p>Maxine loved her family and loved spending time with them. </p><p>She was queen of “reduce, reuse, recycle” before it became a </p><p>popular way of life. She also had many passions. She loved watching “Jeopardy” and solving the crosswords in the daily </p><p>newspaper. Maxine participated with the White Plains Long </p><p>Liners which helped to fuel the Thanksgiving food basket drive </p><p>which were distributed to senior citizens in Westchester, Connecticut and the Bronx. Maxine was also an advocate </p><p>for the Democratic Party serving as Poll Worker during elections.</p><p>Maxine was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gerald </p><p>Gore, son, Kevin Gore, two sisters, Geraldine Glass and </p><p>Alberta Williams Smith. </p><p>Maxine leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to a </p><p>brother, Johnny (Janet) Way of Mount Vernon, NY; a sister </p><p>Barbara (Joshua) Koger of North, South Carolina, and a host of </p><p>nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.</p>

Maxine Glass Gore was born on August 3, 1934 in Orangeburg
