Sr. Rita Meaney

Sr. Rita Meaney, SC (1924-2017) passed away in her seventy fourth year of commitment as a Sister of Charity. She spent sixty three years in Child Care, Children’s Services, and services to Families who support children in need, both at St Agatha’s Home, Nanuet and St Joseph Services for Children and Families, in Brooklyn. She is survived by many devoted nieces, nephews and faithful friends. Wake Mt St Vincent Convent, Riverdale Sunday October 22, 2:00-6:30 Prayer Service at 4:30. Mass of Christian Burial Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, Mt St Vincent Monday, October 23, 11:00 am. Internment at St Raymond’s Cemetery.
