Cory Moody

Cory Duane Moody, 59, of Swannanoa passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. Mr. Moody was born August 31, 1957 in Michigan to the late Harold and Harriett Moody. He was employed with Charles D. Owen Mfg. for many years. Cory is survived by his daughter, Kelly Ray of Swannanoa; sister, Debbie Carter of Black Mountain; grandchildren, MacKenzie and Zachary Davis and Jacob Ray; nephew, Ron Wright; and 3 great-nieces. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
