Ivy Violet Trout, 73, passed away July 16, 2017. Ivy was originally from Michigan and has resided in Black Mountain for the last two years with her son and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Trout. Ivy is survived by her three sons and their families. Services will be held in Michigan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mountain Ridge Health & Rehab and Hospice of Rutherford County for their care of Mamma Trout over the last two years.
