Alvin Urylesses Mull, 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Brian Center, Brevard. <br> A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Milas and Leora Mathis Mull and was the husband of the late Aileen Hall Mull. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carnell and Ed Mull, and one sister, Deenia Mathis. <br> Surviving are a son, Michael Alvin Mull of Mills River; daughter, Miriam “Betsy” Mull of Mills River; sisters, Ermadean Hawkins of Waynesville and Birda Lee Smathers of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Scalise and husband T.J. of Morganton, Justin Clayton of Morganton, and Gracie Mull; great-grandchild, Lydia Scalise; several nieces and nephews. <br> The graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Mack McCall Cemetery with the Rev. Alvin Urylesses Mull, 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Brian Center, Brevard.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Milas and Leora Mathis Mull and was the husband of the late Aileen Hall Mull. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carnell and Ed Mull, and one sister, Deenia Mathis.
