Bessie Galloway Obituary
Rosman â Bessie Morgan Galloway, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey P. Morgan and Gracie Miller Morgan and was the wife of the late Avery âMitchellâ Galloway. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Galloway, a daughter, Gracie Galloway, a brother, Robert Morgan, and a sister, Mary Grace Owen.
Mrs. Galloway was a member of Old Toxaway Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Ralph Kinsey of Rosman; daughters, Lorene Fulton and husband Dan of Cedar Mtn., Dorene Remirez of Rosman, and La Verne Stamey of Mtn. Rest, SC; brothers, Alfred Morgan and Johnny Morgan, both of Rosman, and J.P. Morgan of Lake Toxaway; sisters, Lottie McCall of Brevard, Bertie Arrington of Lake Toxaway, Frances and Vera Morgan both of Cedar Mtn.; 11grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great-great grandchild.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 30, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Old Toxaway Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
