Clara Rowland Obituary
Clara Barton Rowland, age 79, of Rosman died Saturday March 6, 2010. At Transylvania Regional Hospital she was born May 6, 1930 in Transylvania County to the late Ulus and Mittie White Barton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include her husband John, two sons; Bobby and Ronnie, three daughters; Barbara, Kathy and Martha, thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 2:00pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home conduted by Rev. Tommy Owen. Interment will follow at Catheyâs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-8:30pm at
Moody-Connolly Funeral Home
