Obituary
Dorothy Dugan died on January 23, 2011 at the Oaks of Brevard after a long illness. She had been a resident there for five years. Born Dorothy Elizabeth Happel to John Happel and Agnes Murphy in Brooklyn, New York on June 15, 1922, she lived many years on Long Island before moving to New Port Richey, Florida. She is predeceased by her former husbands Robert Neville Moore and James Dugan, and a son, Robert Neville Moore, Jr. of Augusta, Maine and Punta Gorda, Florida. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Dr. Kathleen Moore, of Newburyport, Massachusetts, who until recently had lived in Brevard for ten years. Dr. Moore was active in the Brevard Little Theater and belonged to the Mountain Community of St. Clare. Dorothy Dugan is also survived by two grandchildren, Nicole Longo of Groveland, Mass. and Sean Moore Chaffee of Munich, Germany, and six great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
