Edna Chapman

Edna Lucille Chapman age 84, of Rosman died Tuesday February 19, 2013. She was born November 27, 1928 in Transylvania County to the late Walter Monroe and Ola Galloway. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin R. Chapman, infant daughter Elaine Chapman, brothers Ray Galloway and Carlyle Galloway, and sister Victoria Childree. Survivors include her son; Ricky Chapman of Rosman, daughters Sandra Melton and husband Johnny of Rosman and Linda Pressley of Hendersonville; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brothers Edward Galloway and wife Gladys of Rosman, Cliff Galloway and wife Sherry of Florida, Victor Galloway and wife Georgia of Old Fort; sisters Annette Bradley and husband Dean of Old Fort, Frances Ashe and husband Harley of Georgia, Luella Owen and husband Herbert of Lake Toxaway, Glenda Chapman husband Carl of Lake Toxaway; sister-in-law Jerlene Galloway of Marion; and two special people: Melissa Chapman of Kentucky and Milton Pressley of Rosman. A celebration of the life of Edna Lucille chapman will be held at a later date.
