Elsie Catherine Fowler Searcy, age 84, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. She was born May 31, 1927 to the late Charlie Carson Fowler and Remalia Capps Fowler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Monroe Searcy, one sister Ruth O’Shields and four brothers Buford, Wallace, Alfred and Hillard Fowler. Elsie was retired from Coats America Corporation. Survivors include one sister; Opal Barton of Rosman and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews..
