Pisgah Forest – Gary Dean Neeman, 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. A native of Cheyenne, WY, he was the son of the late Herman Otto Neeman and Pauline Elsie Neeman. Mr. Neeman graduated with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. He was a Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Order of DeMolay. Mr. Neeman was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a magnet of red traffic lights and had the ability to find the best non-handicap parking spaces. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joan Nystrom-Neeman; brothers, Norman L. Neeman and David A. Neeman both of Cheyenne, WY; many nieces and nephews; fur babies, Grayce, Tripper, and Kenya. Military honors will be conducted at 10 am Saturday, October 8, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel by the Transylvania County Honor Guard with a reception following the service.
