Jane Merrill Norton Jane Merrill Norton, 80, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at her residence. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian Scott Merrill and the wife of the late Sidney Sutton Wilson. Mrs. Norton was retired from Bell South. She was a very special gift from God and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Stephenson and husband Curtis of Fletcher; grandchildren, Jesse Ball and Kerris Ball (Maxx Green) all of Horse Shoe; great-grandchildren, Kloe and Mason Green, and special care giver who we love and will always be grateful for, Janice Metcalfe. A private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
