Jerry Bedford Collins

Jerry Bedford Collins, age 74, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019.
Mr. Collins was born on August 15, 1945 in Transylvania County, NC to the late Charles Franklin Collins and Cora Lee Watson Collins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Randall Collins, and two nephews, Michael and Jonathan Atwell.
Mr. Collins was a 1963 graduate of Brevard High School and was retired from Ecusta Corp. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and camping, and watching South Carolina Gamecock football. Mr. Collins was a member of Blantyre Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Monica Booth and husband Ron of Flat Rock, NC, and Trish Odom and husband Joe of Irmo, SC; one sister, Marie McCombs of Pisgah Forest; five grandchildren, Hannah and Collin Booth; Parker, Jake and Savannah Odom; one niece, Tracy Roberson and husband Joseph; two nephews, Randy Collins and wife Robin, and Richie Atwell; great niece and nephew, Jennifer and Matthew.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Blantyre Baptist Church.
