John Joseph Lynch Sapphire – John Joseph Lynch, 78, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Transylvania Regional Hospital, Brevard, NC. Mr. Lynch was a native of Boston, MA and was the son of the late William and Reta Higgins Lynch. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Lynch. He was of the Catholic Faith, was an avid golfer, and was a member of Sapphire National Golf Club. Surviving are his wife, Mary Dawn Perry Lynch; daughters, Laura Lynn Etzel of Pasadena Gardens, MD, and Dawn Paige Swilling of Sapphire; son, Berry Hughes Swilling III of Clermont, FL; brother, Gerald Lynch; 2 grandchildren. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
