Noah Stamey

Lake Toxaway – Noah McKinley “Ken” Stamey, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2016. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Noah and Cora McCall Stamey and was the husband of the late Fannie Mae Fisher Stamey. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Stamey, and a sister, Dora Farley. Survivors include his sons, J. C. Stamey of Lake Toxaway, and Carroll Stamey and wife Brenda of Rosman; sisters, Tabitha Owen and husband Joe of Lake Toxaway, Ila Israel of Rosman, Lela Galloway of Corvallis, OR; brother, Bill Owen and wife Peggy of Hampton, VA; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, one step great-great grandchild. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mack McCall Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. On line condolences may be left at www.moodyconnollyfuneralhome.com. Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
