Ruth Angeline Ball Barton lovingly known to her family as Granny Barton and Nana went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 18, 2016, just 2 days before her 88th birthday. She was such an example of His love to everyone she met. She loved her family and taking care of them was her joy in life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting, Bingo, fishing and spending time with those she loved. She was a wonderful, loving mother, granny, nana, and wife. She is now at peace and reunited with the love of her life, her beloved husband, Claude Lewis Barton. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Leva Ball. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Lewis Barton; one son, Eddie Huey; brothers, Ernest and Cecil Ball; sisters, Reba MCcall, Mary Ellis and Willa Mae Daves and her great-granddaughter Kyla Ashley Parker. She is survived by one brother, Harold Ball and wife Mary; by a daughter Patricia Mathis and her husband Troy Mathis; and sons, Lewis Henry Barton and his wife Teresa, Timmy Barton and ex-wife Crystal and one daughter-in-law Linda Huey; her grandchildren Dwayne Huey, Terry Ward, Donnie Huey and husband Bobby Garcia, Theresa Parker and husband Jeffery, Missy Stillwell and her husband Barry, Tina Hawk and her husband Jim, Josh, Tyler, Henry, Austin and Conner Barton Jessica Kelly and husband Derek, Andrew Leviskia and wife Allissa and Nathaniel Leviskia and wife Sharon and 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday March 21,2016 from 6-8pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 22,2016 at 11am at Moody-Connolly chapel.
