Sara Cooper

Sara Jeanette Ball Cooper, age 84 of Pisgah Forest, made heaven shine brighter when she went home to be with the Lord March 14, 2010 at her home after a period of declining health. She retired from Ecusta and was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. A native of Madison County she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rhoda James Ball, brothers Robert Roberts, Walter Coleman and Richard Ball and one sister Daisy Conner of Marshall. <br> <br>She leaves behind her beloved children, Bobby Cooper and his wife Belinda of Penrose, Donna Gillespie and her husband Tommy of Brevard, Suzanne Stroup and husband Charles of East Fork and Irene Stowe and husband Bruce of Pisgah Forest. Four grandchildren, Darrin Cooper and his wife Jennifer of Etowah, Brian Cooper and his wife Connie of Waynesville, Kerri Morgan of Brevard, Mindy Stroup “Hogsed” of East Fork, four great grandchildren with an extended family of ten great grandchildren. One brother Dallas Ball and his wife Faye of Mills River, four sisters Mattie Ball of Alexander, Jean Rice of Leicester, Eloise Riddle and husband Howard, Altha Ball of Marshall, an endless number of nephews and nieces. She was loved by everyone who know her. <br> <br>Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 3:00pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Owen and Rev. Mark Golden and Soloist Rev. Barry Willet. Interment will follow at Pisgah Gardens. <br>The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. <br>
