Thelma Hinkle

Thelma Luther Hinkle Brevard – Thelma Luther Hinkle, 96, of Brevard departed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2013 while a resident of Sunnybrook Assisted Living in Hendersonville, NC. Thelma was a resident of Transylvania County for the majority of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ray Hinkle, her parents, James Martin Luther and Bessie Robinson Luther, five brothers and one sister. Thelma is survived by her sons, Jack Hinkle of Brevard and Larry Hinkle and wife Elizabeth of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Hinkle and wife Angie, Jessica Sheppard and husband Justin, David Hinkle, and Jonathan Hinkle and wife Allison; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Molly, and Will Hinkle, and many nieces and nephews. Thelma was a lifetime member of Midway Baptist Church, Brevard, NC. A funeral service celebrating Thelma’s life will be held at 3 PM Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Rackley and Rev. Rickey Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory (formerly known as Pisgah Gardens) 994 Hendersonville Hwy., Pisgah Forest, NC.
