William Theodore “Bill” Thompson Hendersonville – William Theodore “Bill” Thompson, 56, beloved son of William Therell Thompson. Bill was called Ted by his family. Passed away on August 20, 2013. Born in Anderson, Indiana, he had resided in Brevard and most recently Asheville. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UNC-Asheville and he attended the University of Arkansas Law School. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by his mother, Joan Fredell Thompson of Hendersonville. Surviving are his father, William Therell Thompson and his step-mother, Beverly June Thompson of Hendersonville; brother, Thomas Thompson and wife Brigitte of Mills River; sisters, Mary Thompson Walgrave and husband Tom of Hendersonville, and Josette Thompson Moore and husband Paul of San Jose, CA; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel, 181 S. Caldwell St., Brevard, NC, with the Rev. Mark Swearingen officiating. Burial will be in Big Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
