Clyde Cagle, Sr.

Clyde Everette Cagle, Sr. East Flat Rock – Clyde Everette Cagle, Sr., 76, formerly of Pisgah Forest, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Universal Health Care, Fletcher, NC. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Chester and Levia Searcy Cagle. He was also preceded in death by his son, Clyde Everette Cagle, Jr. Mr. Cagle was retired from Ecusta Corp. and was an avid bowler, gardener, and sportsman. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary Johnson Cagle; son, Carroll Cagle and wife Leslie of Moore, SC; daughter, Phyllis Pack and husband Lee of Hendersonville; brother, Allen Cagle of Pisgah Forest; sisters, Doris Whitener and husband Merrill of Penrose, and Elaine Holden of Pisgah Forest; grandchildren, Gage, Tara, Brianna, Hannah, Nathan, and Carson. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Eddie Conard, Tommy Owen, and Lloyd Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Wednesday at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
