Randall Buford

Randall Vaughn Buford, 21, of Pisgah Forest passed away Friday, Dec 14th, 2012 while serving in 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Camp Lejeune, NC. Randy served in Afghanistan from January to July of this year. Randy was a 2009 graduate of Brevard High School and Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 703. He loved to sing and act and make people smile, performing in numerous chorus and theater performances at Brevard High School. Randy is survived by his parents and brother, John, Mindy, and Dustin Buford of Pisgah Forest, his Grandparents, Mike and Judy Kurlakowsky of Ocala, Florida and Sally Buford of Brevard and many, many friends and extended family members. Family and friends of Randy and his family will be received at Moody Connolly Funeral Home on, Friday, Dec 21st, from 7:00-10:00PM. There will be graveside services on Saturday, Dec 22nd, at 2:00PM at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory on Hendersonville Highway. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Randy’s name are made to the Brevard High School Theater Department, 747 Country Club Road, Brevard, NC 28712. Randy, we all love you deeply and thank God for your time on this earth with us. Your smile and sense of humor will be dearly missed, but your presence in our lives will be eternal.
