Corey Deonté Scott, born to Celestine E. Scott on October 25, 1988 in Fayetteville, NC, was an affectionate and loving son and brother. He is the oldest of four siblings: Octavia Smith, Brandon Smith, Nykia C. Chavis and Wayne McFayden, Jr. Better known as “Elroy” to most of his friends, Corey liked to be around family, especially his deceased grandmother, Mary Frances Scott, and enjoyed being with his friends. Like most young adults, he went through a difficult season in his life, but he finally found his passion in long distance truck driving. Corey played football and basketballin high school and graduated from Grays Creek High School in 2007. He got his CDL license in 2016 and began driving for Flat Creek Trucking Company in Flat Creek, Alabama. He enjoyed being on the road and has gone to places he had never thought he would see. Corey accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of twelve and was baptized at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He strayed from attending church, but he believed
