Annie Ruth Vinson

Annie Ruth Duncan Vinson, 84, of Otto, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. Born in Salem, SC, she was the daughter of the late Miles Matthew Duncan and Sarah Ollie Nix Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Beatrice Garrett, Gladys Miller, Hazel Stone, Virgil Duncan, Bill Duncan and Leroy Duncan. Annie Ruth enjoyed flower gardening, reading, word puzzles, cross words and Sudoku. She was a member of Tessentee Church of God. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Sheridan Vinson; three children, Dwight Vinson and wife Martha of Franklin, Mark Vinson and Vicki of Otto and Cynthia Wilde and husband Robin of Weston, WI; one sister, Mildred Littleton of Easley, SC; one brother, Russell Duncan of Seneca, SC; five grandchildren, Zachary Wilde, Kipp Wilde, Christopher Vinson, Matthew Vinson (Meredith) and Carmen Mullen (Shawn); three great grandchildren, Emma, Isaac and Andrew Vinson and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4th at Tessentee Church of God. Rev. Gregory Alan Bartram, Rev. Eugene Moore and Rev. Robin Wilde will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3rd at Macon Funeral Home. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
