Carrie Ann Sellers

Carrie “Bear” Ann Sellers, 20, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Born in West Palm Beach, FL, she was the daughter of Rick and Penny Sellers of Otto. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Brown and aunt, Kelly White. She graduated from Franklin High School in 2007 and was a trumpet player for the FHS Band and was a member of the FHS Softball Team. She attended Western Carolina University and majored in Criminal Justice; was a member of WCU Band; enjoyed photography and was very artistic. She attended Asbury Methodist Church. Carrie will always be remembered for her quick sense of humor. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Cori Sellers of the home in Otto; paternal grandfather, Don Sellers of Otto; paternal grandmother, Pat Thompson of West Palm Beach, FL; maternal grandmother, Jean Brown of Tiger, GA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Janet Green, Rev. Michael Binger and Rev. Jim Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial donations can be made to the FHS Band Booster Club. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
