Judith “Judi” Hutter-Codner-DeMar-Selner-Day (née Young), died peacefully on May 22, 2017, in Franklin, North Carolina at the age of 73. Judi is survived by her brother, William (Connie), of Cinnaminson, NJ; nephews, William, Gregory & Jeremy Young, also of New Jersey and the children of her fiancée, Richard and Catherine, DeWitt of Atlanta, Georgia and Leonard and Adrienne DeWitt of Connecticut. She is also survived by a very close circle of dear friends; Belinda and Chuck Sanders, Jena and Kim, Bobbi & Johnny, and Karen & Joy. She was preceded in death by prior husbands – Sam DeMar, John Selner, and Charles Day as well as her fiancé Leonard DeWitt. Judi was born on March 12, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Mary (nee Arner) Young. Judi attended Mohawk Regional High School, but graduated from Springfield Local High School in 1962. Judi married Earl Hutter in 1963 and later Ross Codner with whom she had a son Ross Codner, II. Judi led an interesting life with many avocations. From working in consumer finance to restaurant management, to over-the-road/over-width lead car driver, to installing Home Improvements, to grocery store management, she was versatile, always had a job and was involved. She was always a welcome guest with friends at the Moose, VFW and American Legion. There will be no services, cremation is scheduled, and the disposition of the cremains shall be determined by the family. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
