Mary J. Ledford Oliver, 83, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ledford and Florence Ray Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Eugene Oliver and a sister, Sarah Ledford Waldroop. She is survived by her son, Matthew Rodriguez of Venice, FL; sister, Elmyra and Kosuke Tamashiro of Waikoloa, Hawaii; grandson, Joshua Rodriguez of Franklin; extended family, Lourdes Rodriguez and Francisco Dominguez and three nieces, Kimberly McClure of Franklin, Cindy Waldroop Raby and husband, Russell Raby of Franklin and Trina Ashcraft and husband Tim of Waikoloa, Hawaii; three nephews, Mike Waldroop and wife Joyce of Tennessee, John Waldroop and wife Carol of Franklin and Steve Waldroop and wife Karen of Franklin and several grand nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Enloe will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Matthew Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Noah Birchard, Byron McClure, Adam Waldroop. Honorary Pallbearer will be Creedence Riblett.
