Beverly Estabrook Brownell, age 91, of Chittenango, New York passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert Weiland in Gastonia. Born in Pennsylvania on April 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Florence Davis Estabrook. Bev retired from NYNEX in 1985. She was a member of The Fyler Community Church, Kirkville, New York and the Telephone Pioneers of America. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Brownell, 3 sisters, a brother, a granddaughter, and 2 great granddaughters. Bev are survived by four daughters, Debra Smith of Baldwinsville, NY; Sharon (Bob) Weiland of Gastonia, Janice (Dan) Balitz of Canastota, NY, and Kim (Gil) Stevens of Albany NY; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Lombardini of Johnson City, NY. At her request there will be no calling hours or service. Final burial will be at Fyler Settlement Cemetery in New York. Memorials can be made to; Flyer Community Church or Hospice of Gaston County.
