Christopher Steven Ray, age 51 passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Atrium Lincolnton. Born in Gaston County on February 6, 1969 he was the son of the late Gary Lee and Dortha Faye Kale Ray Sr. Christopher was a member of South Side Baptist Church. He enjoyed talking on the Hamm Radio. In addition to his parents, Chris is preceded in death by a brother Gary Lee “Ricky” Ray Jr. Chris is survived by a brother, J. C. Ray and wife Janet of Lincolnton; a nephew, Cager Ray and wife Kristen; a niece, Cassie Lynn Norman; two aunts, Martha Mullen and husband Neil and Norma Keever all of Lincolnton; and an uncle, Jack Kale of Lincolnton; best friends Michael Webb, Jerry Reel, David Baker, and Mikey Reel and other loving family members. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 3:00pm at South Side Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ingle and Rev. Dan Farnsworth officiating.
