Eric Wayne Brady July 9, 1966 - July 14, 2020 Eric Wayne Brady age 54, passed on July 14, 2020 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gastonia NC and was the son of the late Lawrence Rome Brady Jr. and Helen Marie Brady. Eric was a Hunter Huss High School graduate “Class of 1984”. He went on to have a lifelong career as a structural draftsman. He was employed with J.N. Pease, CMC Rebar and Southern Pan Services. He is survived by his sisters Crystal Dowdle and husband Dale Dowdle, Teresa Whetstine and husband Dan Whetstine, Deborah Robinson and husband Mike Robinson, and Kimberly Turner; nephews Caden Dowdle and Jesse Dowdle; wife Debra Brady; step grandson Scottie Brady; step granddaughter Nikki Haney and husband Wesley Haney. Eric was a loving brother, uncle, friend, and a great pawpaw. He will always be remembered as Paw by Scottie who always held a special place in Eric’s heart. He was kindhearted and loved his dogs Taz and Dozer. He once enjoyed going to concerts and taking Scottie to visit Military Parks. He was a longtime fan of NC State Wolfpack, Nascar Racing Team Petty Enterprises, and the rock band Kiss. Eric will be forever missed and always in our hearts. A private celebration of life will be held in his honor.
