Margaritte Elizabeth Morris Maloy, age 89, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at her home. Born in Henry County Georgia on June 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Benny Harper and Ruby Lee Darby Morris. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stanley. Margaret was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and with flowers, but her love was spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Maloy, four brothers and two sisters. Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Maloy; a son, Ken Maloy and wife Michele of Gastonia and Winford Boyd and wife Trudy of Georgia; a daughter, Connie Mackin and husband George of Chicago; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2:00pm in the chapel of A Simple Service Burial and Cremation with Rev. Morris Mitchell officiating.
