Milton Lee Chatelain

Milton Lee Chatelain 69, of Port Arthur TX, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at his home with his family in Gastonia, NC. He was born on May 6, 1951 in Port Arthur, TX to his parents, Charlie and Ivy (Harris) Chatelain. Milton was a 1970 graduate of Port Neches High School. After graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. and served during the Vietnam era. Upon returning home, he went to worked for Texaco Chemical Plant, Port Arthur, TX as an Operator, for 10 years. Then Milton moved to NC and has been a resident for there for over 35 years. He worked as an Operator and Molding Technician for CD and DVD Manufacturers, for 33 years. He is survived by a son, Christopher Chatelain and Daughter-in-Law Shea Moore; a daughter Christine (Chatelain) Marze and Son-in-Law Jeremy Marze; a brother, Charles Trenholm and wife Sharon; a sister, Portia (Trenholm) Duhon and husband Mike Duhon; and a sister, Sue (Trenholm) Romero; And 10 grandchildren, Tiffany Ford; Michael & Emily Marze; Preston, Colton, & Hadlea Chatelain; Ilan Harris, Alexys Wynnberry, Makana and Ailani Ondayog; Two stepdaughters, Lynn Anderson Palma and Jennifer Anderson. PALLBEARERS: Charles Trenholm, Jeremy Marze, Michael Marze, Mariah Moore, Adam Trenholm, Michael Jones. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: A Service to honor Milton’s life will be in the “A Simple Service”, 451 Hospital Dr., Gastonia, NC 28054 starting at 2:30pm until 4:00pm. GRAVESIDE: Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619 with an honor ceremony that includes the playing of taps and the folding and presentation of the American flag to the next of kin.
