I will celebrate your life. As long as memories last, You will stay in my heart. Your loving husband. Mrs. Felecia Lavern Best Lewis , 66, of 1434 Airport Rd, N. E., Pikeville, NC, departed this earthly realm of life on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. Mrs. Felicia B. Lewis was born on August 17, 1952, in Lenoir County, NC, to the late Eddieville Best and Dorothy Turnage Best . Felecia departed this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 6:20 PM at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. Felicia attended Lenoir County Schools, and graduated in 1970 from Frink High School. She furthered her education at Shaw University in Raleigh, NC, and also received her Cosmetology License from Mitchell's School of Cosmetology. Felecia accepted Christ as her savior at an early age, and preached her initial sermon in 2005. To know Felicia was to love her, she had a sweet spirit. She was predeceased by a daughter Celicia Best and a brother Dennis Best. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband: Bobby Lewis Four Brothers: Eddieville Best, Jr., (Bessie) of Washington, DC; Travis Best (Virginia) of Goldsboro, NC, Gregory Robinson (Cheryllynn) of La Grange, NC; Stanley Robinson of La Grange, NC. 1 Sister: Frances I Robinson of La Grange, NC. Five sisters-in-law; Helen Wilson (Connell), and Charity Lewis; both of Garner, NC; Mable Rutledge (Jimmy) of Winston-Salem,NC; Noah Ramseur of WInston-Salem, NC; and Daisy Robb (Larry). Two Brothers-in-law; Griffith Lewis, Jr., of Garner, NC; and Allen Lewis (Janet) of Anchorage, Alaska. One uncle: Claude Allen Gray. Two special cousins whom she raised Shaunte Best of Pikeville, NC, and Evelyn Best Warren of Kinston,NC. Three Special nephews whom she raised Tracey Coprew, Levonte Langston, Tyhishi Taylor and host of other relatives & friends. Services of Love & Compassionate Care have been entrusted to Serenity Memorial Funeral Home & Cremations, LLC.
