"Don't Grieve for me, for I'm following the path God has Laid for me" It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the earthly transition of Jimmy Troublefield, 70, of Mt. Olive, NC, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, Mount Olive Center, a Genesis Healthcare Facility. Jimmy was born in Wayne County, NC and was the son of the late Julius and Odessa Bynum Troublefield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in his earthly transition by five brothers, Jerry Lee Troublefield,Thomas Troublefield, Charlie Troublefield, Sr., Julius Troublefield, Jr., and Levoin Troublefield. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Troublefield, one daughter; Cathleen Troublefield, one son he helped raise; Willie (Jennifer) Leonard, Sr. Ten grandchildren: Myesha (Delaney) Swinson-Phillips, Tanisha (A’jean Zeama) Smith, Teirra Allen, Swansheina Van, Ny’Asia Troublefield, Johnnie Ray Troublefield, Jayden Smith, Willie Leonard, Jr., Alexxie Leonard, Demonte Leonard. One great-grandson; Cameron Williams. He is also survived by one brother, Larry Troublefield. Three sisters; Pearlie Sessions, Annie (John) Carlton, Verlene Troublefield Coleman. One sister-in-law; Eliza Troublefield. Jimmy’s earthly wake will be Friday, February 22nd from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with the family present at 4:00 PM at Serenity Memorial Funeral Home of Goldsboro, NC, and one hour prior to the Homegoing service. The Homegoing services are scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd at 1:00 PM at Holy Ghost Cathedral, Mt. Olive, NC. Services of Love & Compassionate Care have been entrusted to Serenity Memorial Funeral Home & Cremations, LLC.
