Dr. Russell Charles Rosser, 70, of Charlotte went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2012. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and for the past 47 1/2 years has been married to Carol. Russ, as a minister of the gospel, has pastored since he was 17, serving churches in the north until 1999, then after re-locating to Charlotte he served in the local churches. In addition to his wife,Carol, his immediate family includes his children, Julie Palafox, and her husband Ric, Shelly Lee, and her husband John, David Rosser, and his wife Crista; his sister, Gwendolyn Rosser;his brother, James Rosser; and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carmel Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary Education Fund.
