Albert Paulin
Albert “Al” Joseph Paulin, 78, of Union Mills, died Monday, May 2, 2011. A native of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Canada, he was a career Naval Operations Specialist. Among other tours, he served in Korea and the Persian Gulf. He was a member of Second Baptist Church, and was also a member of the Rotary Club, Fleet Reserve Association, American Legion, and VFW. Albert is survived by his wife, Barbara Beverly Paulin of the home; sister, Teresa Dubreuil of Canada; and two brothers, Francis Paulin of Canada, Ray Paulin and wife Anne of Toronto, Canada; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Hilma Paulin. Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 2PM at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 191 Green Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.Obituary
