Alecia Beam Bogan, 55, of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Regional Hospice. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Ervin and Mary McDaniel Beam. She was a retired private investigator. She is survived by her son, Tony A. Horton of Boiling Springs, SC; brother Sherman Beam of Rutherfordton; half brother, Eddie Ellis of Rutherfordton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Ellis. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, April 22, 2016 at Westminister Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
