Alice Sexton

Alice Sexton, 77, of Forest City, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Willie and Carrie Shelton McDaniel. She was a homemaker. Alice is survived by three daughters, Pat Mode, Faye Bradley, and Joyce Smith; three sons, Johnny Bradley, Larry Bradley, and William Sexton; sixteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and three great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Sexton Jr and daughter Marilyn Luann Kennedy. Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, August 1 at Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Leon Brown and Rev. Ricky Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Cliffside cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31 from 7 until 9 PM at Crowe’s Mortuary.
