Ann Richards, 78, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Pauline, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Velma Skipper. Ann was a newspaper bookkeeper and a member of Green River Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ray Richards of the home; daughter, Dena Ramsey and husband Terry; grandson Josh Pruitt; brother, Keith Skipper; and lifelong friends Brenda Deck and Carol Self. Funeral services will be held 2PM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Green River Baptist Church with Josh Pruitt and Rev. Gary Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 5PM until 7PM at Crowe’s Mortuary, 118 College Avenue, Rutherfordton, NC.
