Anna Mitchem Hardin, 92, of 1108 US 64 Hwy Rutherfordton passed away on Wednesday January 15 at Hospice House. Anna was a native of Rutherford County, the daughter of the late John Adam and Eva Roberson Mitchem and widow of the late Everette Hardin, a retired textile employee and a member of Mt. Hebron UMC. Left to cherish her memory is several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger. Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Mt. Hebron UMC with Rev. Dennis Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, 2869 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.Obituary
