Annie Mae Hutchins
Annie Mae Phillips Hutchins, age 85 passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 at Oakland Living Center in Rutherfordton, NC. A native of Rutherford County she is the daughter of the late Armel and Winnie Tipton Phillips and widow of William Dennis Hutchins, Sr. Mrs. Hutchins was a graduate of the Rutherford Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Rutherford Hospital, Rutherford OB/GYN and White Oak Manor. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons – Bill Hutchins and his wife Ann of Bostic, NC, Joe Hutchins and his wife Robin of Boiling Springs, SC, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 3 PM Monday March 26, 2018 at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery 4344 US Hwy 64, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. Mike Haire officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church C/O Marsha Baker 3621 Pearidge Road, Bostic NC 28018.Obituary
